Office Administrator & Customer Services
The administrator will be responsible for general administration duties within the office. They will take customer orders and input them onto the Trinity system. They will also be responsible for recording and correctly cashing up all cash, cheques, and PDQ transactions that arrive at the depot. Additionally, they will assist with daily office tasks including managing the post, handling daily administration work, and receiving and processing orders.
Key Skills
* Keep track of run sheets and collect and record delivery notes from drivers.
* Check and record all incoming deliveries and cash postings.
* Record account details, delivery amounts, and payment methods onto an Excel spreadsheet.
* Manage all cash, cheques, and PDQ transactions received from deliveries and account managers.
* Be responsible for the till and office safe, ensuring all payments are stored securely and accessible only to authorized personnel.
* Ensure that payments received and the Cash Postings spreadsheet balance at the end of each working day.
* Cash up and store all money, cheques, and PDQ transactions in the safety deposit box or office safe daily.
* Take orders for telesales and assist with answering telephones and taking messages as needed.
* Perform administrative duties such as confirming orders, sorting post, filing, and processing orders.
Knowledge and Experience
* Good teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and record keeping.
* Accuracy in counting money, checking data, and maintaining records.
* Experience with Trinity system for checking accounts, invoices, and placing orders.
* Strong teamwork skills with office staff, drivers, and warehousing staff.
Additional Information
* Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
* Some customer service duties as required.
* Discretionary £2000 bonus subject to KPIs.
