2nd Line Support Engineer
Our client is a solutions-based company that focuses on delivering the correct technical solutions for their clients, integrating into their business and future operations. They provide IT services to over 180 hotels across the UK. Their offerings include IT Support, CCTV, Wi-Fi, Phone systems, and more.
They are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their head office in Basingstoke. The ideal candidate will have experience in general IT desktop support and hold a full UK driving license.
Position Overview
1. Installing and implementing IT solutions and services
2. Providing proactive and reactive IT assistance, both remotely and onsite at hotels
3. Creating internal and customer documentation as needed
4. Liaising with customers and suppliers, escalating issues appropriately
5. Logging and resolving IT issues within SLA
6. Conducting onsite visits in the South and London areas
7. Participating in out-of-hours IT support on a rota basis for critical issues
Position Requirements
* Full UK Driving License
* Experience with Active Directory
* Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
* 2-3 years in a similar role
* Experience with vSphere, ESXi, Office 365, networking/LAN, Mitel, 3CX, Hotel PMS & POS Systems (not essential)

Position Remuneration
* Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm, with an hour lunch
* Office-based, with travel to customer sites as needed
* Salary: £22,000 – £32,000 DOE
* 28 days holiday including bank holidays
