Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with identified SEN Assist in the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and support strategies Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Support the class teacher with differentiation and behaviour management Track and report on student progress to the SENCo and teaching staff Promote the social and emotional well-being of pupils Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals when needed Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips and enrichment activities Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (required or highly desirable) Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive practices A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or similar) is an advantage Excellent communication and teamwork skills Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting every child DBS check required (or willingness to undergo one)
