Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Cradley Heath
Pay: £37,241 to £41,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday (6.00am to 3.00pm)
Overtime rates: x1.5 Monday-Saturday and x2 Sundays
Holidays and benefits: 28 days plus 8 bank holidays, company pension, life insurance.
Overview:
Working for a large manufacturing business that have sites across the UK we now require a site-based Mechanical Fitter to join the Maintenance team.
Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter role:
To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Mechanical Fitter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Time served apprentice trained or above
Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
Mechanically competent working - welding, fabrication.
An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial.Commutable from: Cradley Heath, Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Redditch, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
