KCR Solutions are recruiting a Part-Time Accountant for an excellent client based in Hebburn. This role will suit a hands-on, team player with good Excel knowledge. Working closely with the FD, this is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation, supporting core financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounting functions. Key Responsibilities Preparing monthly management accounts. Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts. Liaising with external accountants/auditors. Reconciling company bank accounts. Managing accruals, prepayments, and other month-end adjustments. Preparing VAT returns while complying with HMRC deadlines. Maintaining accounting systems and generating financial reports. Providing cost analysis, budgeting support, and ad hoc financial reporting. Delivering accurate data and insights to support the FD’s decision-making. Maintaining knowledge of wider finance responsibilities to provide cover if needed. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA with previous experience of management and statutory accounts processes. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.
