Requirements for the role: We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will: Work closely with the class teachers to ensure the needs of the child is met. Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with additional needs, including small group work where appropriate Adapt learning activities daily to ensure access to a differentiated and highly personalised curriculum Work proactively and flexibly to meet the child’s evolving needs Collaborate closely with the SENCO and external agencies to deliver targeted support Foster strong, positive relationships between home and school, making parents feel welcome and involved Engage with multiple external professionals to implement best-practice strategies Hold at least a Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent qualification) Ideally, possess training or experience in language, communication, and interaction techniques, alongside experience supporting children with neurodiverse needs. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday in line with the child’s Education Health Care Plan.
