Full-Time | Long-Term or Permanent OpportunityLarge 4-Form-Entry Primary SchoolWe are working with a large, well-established four-form-entry primary school in South Bristol seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team.About the SchoolThis is a thriving, inclusive primary school with excellent facilities, a strong leadership team, and a reputation for nurturing both staff and pupils. With four classes per year group, the school offers exceptional collaboration opportunities, shared planning, and a warm, community-focused environment.The RoleAs a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Deliver high-quality learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on experience)
* Lead whole-class teaching in the absence of the teacher
* Provide targeted group and 1:1 support to raise attainment
* Assist with planning and assessment under teacher guidance
* Contribute to a positive, engaging, and well-managed learning environment
* Work closely with teachers, support staff, SENCO, and senior leaders
What We're Looking For
* HLTA status (or equivalent)
* Strong classroom management skills
* Experience across primary key stages (EYFS/KS1/KS2)
* A confident, proactive, and flexible approach
* Passion for supporting children's learning and development
* A team player who thrives in a collaborative, multi-form-entry setting
