Purpose of the Role Allied Infrastructure (Part of the Colas Group) service 95% of the UK’s commercial, private and military airfields offering specialist services, relating to maintaining or providing Airfield pavements and small civil engineering projects.
We are now recruiting a Site Foreman at a salary of circa £50,000 for our Manchester Airport framework, where the role will require works to be undertaken in unsociable hours (evenings, nights weekends) Which does attract enhanced rates. There is also opportunity for development and progression within the team leading to promotion and greater responsibility, not only in Allied but the overall Colas Group.
Main Responsibilities The Site Foreman will undertake works from job sheets, method statements, risk assessments and COSHH assessments; ensuring all Client SHEQ requirements are observed by all Allied personnel working on the site. You will also take responsibility for the maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment while overseeing total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
The Site Foreman will plan, coordinate and supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s) and provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidates will be solution orientated, with strong work ethic and flexibility to work nights/weekends as required by the programme. You will be capable of taking ownership of the works from start to finish, including the handover of the works.
You will be computer literate with people leadership expereince in a civils environment and hold as a minimum: CSCS Card, First Aid at Work, SSSTS and Full current driving licence and be expected to undertake Confined space training, Temporary works training and Lift supervison.
