As an Experienced Care Assistant at Hollybank and Oak Lodge, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our elderly residents. You will use your expertise and compassionate nature to help provide a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring personal care and emotional support is delivered with kindness and attention to detail.
Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to senior staff.
Engage residents in various activities to promote social interaction and emotional wellbeing.
Help in administering medications as prescribed and ensuring compliance with care plans.
Maintain accurate records of care provided, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
Contribute to a warm and lively atmosphere that enhances residents’ quality of life.
This position involves a flexible working approach, including shift work across days and weekends. You will be required to work 36 hours per week, including some weekends and holidays.
Experience: Previous experience as a care assistant in a residential setting is essential.
Qualifications: A minimum of Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification is required; Level 3 is preferred.
