The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

* Holidays: 30 days, plus 1 additional day per year of service up to 5 days; holiday buy-back scheme of 5 days

Responsibilities
* Manage and liaise with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations
* Develop, monitor, and maintain procedures within the Quality Management System
* Train and advise employees on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance
* Plan and execute audits, and implement best practices
* Conduct site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring safety and legal compliance
* Lead in-house training on QHSE topics
* Maintain records, produce reports, and suggest improvements
* Stay updated with legislation and industry standards
* Manage hazardous substances and emergency procedures
* Ensure equipment safety and proper disposal of hazardous materials
* Provide expert advice on fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, etc.
* Lead and monitor safety initiatives and policies
* Possess NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification
* Demonstrate passion and knowledge in HSEQ subjects
* Work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines
* Proficient in MS Office and risk assessment tools
* Hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel
* Must have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status)
