We have an exciting role within our Neighbourhoods team as a Community Development Officer.
About Us
An opportunity has arisen to expand our Neighbourhood Model across Middlesbrough. We are creating 8 Community Development Officer posts to work with local communities, identify needs, and develop sustainable programmes that support community resilience and capacity building.
Our Neighbourhood Model emphasizes a community approach, involving residents, communities, and stakeholders. You will consult with these groups to develop plans and systems that influence project delivery.
To succeed, you need excellent communication skills, experience in creating and delivering community projects, and a full clean driving license.
You will work both independently and as part of a team, using your initiative. We seek an exceptional communicator passionate about making a difference in Middlesbrough communities.
