The objective of the Sales Assistant is to support business growth and maximize revenue by assisting high potential merchants in launching their product catalogs on the Amazon platform across the MENA region, while maintaining Amazon's high standards for product data quality.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, innovative, an effective communicator, and eager to participate in ongoing changes, process revamps, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Additionally, the candidate needs to coordinate with agencies supporting Amazon with various services, including listing and warehouse in-bounding.
This role requires excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as strong team skills. The candidate should aim to meet and exceed both internal and external stakeholder expectations through high attention to detail and delivering high-quality results on time.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. On-board sellers' content to the Amazon platform using standard item creation templates by working closely with business teams across the MENA region or directly communicating with sellers through support queues to gather requirements.
2. Troubleshoot potential errors encountered during listing creation.
3. Maintain professionalism in communication with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Demonstrate a bias for action and generate ideas to contribute to process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
* 2+ years of sales experience
* Bachelor's degree
* Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, and writing)
* Microsoft Office skills, with Excel being most important
* Excellent web browsing skills
* Attention to detail
* Multitasking ability
* Customer-centric mindset
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Proven examples of bias for action in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in e-commerce is advantageous
* Ability to recognize opportunities to add value to customers, with supporting examples
* Knowledge of SQL is a plus
