Our Credit Hire team in Liverpool is growing, and we are seeking a skilled Lead Paralegal with litigation experience to join us. Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of credit hire litigation files, including pre-litigated and litigated matters.
* Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, reports, and documentation.
* Draft and review court documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
* Assist solicitors in the preparation of trial bundles and witness statements.
* Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely responses to court orders and client inquiries.
* Liaise with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel professionally and effectively.
* Provide administrative support as needed, ensuring all documentation is accurate and well-organized.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
* Previous experience in litigation, ideally within credit hire or personal injury.
* Proven ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Proficient in legal research and case management software.
