Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee a high-profile project in Torness in East Lothian. This role is pivotal for ensuring the successful delivery of the project, encompassing planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all aspects of construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
* Act as the primary liaison with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams involved in the project.
* Coordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring quality standards are met and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
* Develop and implement construction schedules, logistics plans, and resource allocation strategies.
* Identify potential challenges, evaluate solutions, and make recommendations to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Manage project finances, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
* Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
* Support business development initiatives, contributing to the growth and success of future projects.
* Foster a collaborative work environment, mentoring and guiding team members to achieve project goals.
