We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Head of Groups & Events to join our management team and help to drive our business forward. With some exciting new projects coming up, this is an exciting time to join us on our events journey.
As our Head of Groups & Events you will:
* Have a proven track record of sales within the hospitality and tourism sector
* Have a solid understanding of events operations to effectively plan and coordinate
* Be a confident leader to motivate and guide our Groups & Events Coordination Team
* Work closely with our Revenue Manager to identify opportunities for growth
* Have solid IT skills to be comfortable working with CRM and hotel back of house systems
This is a full-time role including 42.5 hours per week Monday-Friday as standard with occasional Saturdays where needed (around once or twice per month).
We are looking for people with the desire to learn and grow in an environment that encourages you to use your flare to deliver amazing experiences for our clients. We even have a dedicated Training & Development Manager focused on mentoring you and giving you the skills you need to succeed in your career.

* New recycling and energy saving programmes
* Mental health first aid qualifications for key team members
* An increased social calendar to get our team together more often outside of work
* A partnership with Bourne Free to deliver an event for the elderly LGBTQ+ community
