A brand-new, quota-carrying role has opened for a commercially driven Account Manager to lead the growth of industry relationships across a unique collection of creative, technical, and educational organisations. Reporting to the Sales & Strategic Partnerships Director, you’ll take ownership of a diverse partnership portfolio—driving new revenue, strengthening partner engagement, and ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
This is a consultative sales role where you’ll spot opportunities, negotiate agreements, and turn relationships into meaningful commercial value.
What You’ll Do
1. Proactively identify, secure, and grow industry partnerships
2. Manage the full partnership lifecycle: prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, delivery, and renewal
3. Serve as the primary commercial contact for partners, ensuring strong engagement and retention
4. Cross-sell services across training, R&D, facilities, and innovation programmes
5. Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
6. Manage and grow research memberships, meeting financial and performance KPIs
7. Track pipeline activity, revenue, and partner performance, reporting on outcomes and impact
Experience
8. Proven experience in sales, account management, partnerships, or business development
9. A strong commercial mindset with a track record of working to targets and KPIs
10. Confidence in negotiating and closing partnership agreements
11. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
12. Experience—or a strong interest—in creative industries, live events, technology, or R&D environments
Working Hours
13. Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5pm
14. Flexibility required, including occasional evenings and weekends
