Description
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry into accounting systems.
* Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Monitor budgets and provide insights on variances or discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and audits.
* Support the finance team with reconciliations and cost analyses.
* Provide financial advice and guidance to other departments as required.
* Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance function assisting with reconciliations, journals and balance sheet reviews
* Preparing and analysing financial data and reports
* Supporting budget setting and annual charge reviews
* Working with large data sets using Excel
* Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
* Supporting compliance and audit requirements
* Liaising with wider operational and finance teams across the business
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
Profile
* Happy to consider PQ and QBE candidates.
* Experience working in the Housing sector.
* Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of financial systems.
* The ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in preparing financial reports and handling budgets.
