Staff Analog IC Engineer (P4)
Location: Limerick, Ireland or Edinburgh, UK
The Position
Analog Devices is seeking a staff analog/ mixed signalIC design engineer for its Data Center & Energy (DCE) group in Limerick, Ireland. Within DCE, we deliver high reliability power, connectivity, and analytics solutions for modern data centers and energy infrastructure.
The successful candidate will specify,implement,and verify analog circuits for mixed-signal SoCs that enable signal measurement and analytics. This role focuses onspecification interpretation,transistor level design, verification, and integration, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Architect, develop,and verify analog circuits and subsystems; ensure functional correctness and specification conformance
2. Perform transistor level design and simulation
3. Develop DFT strategies and test plans
4. Collaborate with digital, firmware, and validation teams to integrate analog content into mixed-signal SoCs
5. Assist with silicon bring-up and debug; support lab measurements and correlation to simulation
6. Contribute to methodology improvements and automation initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
7. BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
8. 7+ years of experience in analog integrated circuit design
9. Proficiency inspicesimulation and scripting languages (Python, etc.)
10. Understanding of IC design and layout topics including matching, offset, and noise coupling, latch up,and ESD
11. Understanding of DFT concepts and basic test strategies
12. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
13. Good organization; written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
14. MSor PhDin Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
15. Experience with lab prototyping and system-level modeling
16. Demonstratedexperienceof leadership onIC design projects
17. Working knowledge of numerical modelingtechniques
18. Experience with ADCs, DACs,and serial communications interfaces
19. BiCMOSand High voltage IC design experience
20. Interest in methodology improvements and automation
