In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will include planning and implementing activities that delight our Residents, helping the Home Manager organise fundraising events, and encouraging Residents to socialise and pursue hobbies. Your positive energy and ability to connect with people are essential.
We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. You should have excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. Communication with Residents and colleagues should be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the appropriate actions to take, including reporting concerns and escalation if necessary. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training.
About HC-One: We believe that caring for people means caring about what matters most to them, supporting them to live their best lives. Our five key qualities—curious, compassionate, creative, courageous, and dependable—guide our work and culture.
We champion inclusivity, fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. Our diverse workforce helps us better serve the communities we operate in. We are also enhancing our support for residents through digital care planning, streamlining care, and improving outcomes.
