Mobile Cleaner
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible shifts between 12pm - 9pm), plus Saturday mornings (9am - 1pm)
Rate: £13.50 per hour (includes paid travel time between jobs)
Location: Hampshire
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a dependable and proactive Mobile Cleaner to join their team. This role requires working during weekdays (flexible times) and Saturday mornings, covering multiple sites across the South Hampshire region.
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Mobile Cleaner to maintain cleanliness across a variety of sites including offices, haulage depots, and veterinary/aesthetics practices throughout Hampshire. This role offers flexible working hours with the convenience of paid travel time and a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clean various commercial sites to a high standard following a schedule confirmed via the company app.
2. Secure buildings at the end of shifts for designated key-holder sites.
3. Occasionally cover shifts at short notice due to staff sickness.
4. Deliver and monitor stock levels across multiple locations.
5. Use a company app to clock in/out, complete required forms, request holidays, and access company documents.
6. Check cleaning stock levels, site equipment, and notify management of any issues during cover cleaning shifts.
7. Inspect cleaning quality post-shift and correct any deficiencies.
8. Work independently and collaboratively with other cleaning staff across sites.
9. Perform routine cleaning duties including hoovering, mopping, sanitising touchpoints, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, kitchens, and maintaining general site hygiene.
10. Collect and return the company vehicle and fuel card at the start and end of each shift.
11. Maintain constant availability of a working mobile phone with data for communication and app use.
Requirements:
12. Full UK driving license.
13. A reliable mobile phone with data is essential.
14. Ability to follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
15. Good organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
16. Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice when required.
