About the Job Are you ready to lead innovation and drive efficiency in manufacturing? We’re looking for a Process & Project Engineering Team Leader to head up our engineering team and deliver cutting‑edge solutions that transform production.
What you’ll do:
* Lead and develop the Process and Project Engineering Team.
* Optimise production technologies and improve manufacturing processes.
* Manage and deliver major capital and technological projects from concept to completion.
* Combine strategic leadership with hands‑on engineering and project management.
* Collaborate across departments to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
About the Ideal Candidate
Team Leadership & Development
* Lead and develop a team of process and project engineers.
* Allocate resources effectively to meet departmental and site objectives.
* Provide coaching, training plans, and performance management.
Process Engineering
* Act as overall process owner for core technologies (including moulding, machining, assembly).
* Manage the team to provide process engineering cover across production lines.
* Drive improvements in safety, efficiency, quality, and competitiveness.
* Identify and implement new technologies and automation opportunities.
Project Management
* Deliver major capital and technological projects from concept to completion.
* Ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality targets.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to achieve strategic goals.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in engineering leadership within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects.
* Expertise in process optimisation and production technologies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Education and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent).
* Experience in leading automation in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to automation and process improvement.
* Proficiency in PLC programming and industrial control systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley).
* Experience in programming and integrating industrial robotics (ABB, Kawasaki, Universal Robots).
* Experience in integration and support of OEE monitoring systems.
* Experience in integrating and data acquisition from oven control systems (Eurotherm).
* Experience in safety of machinery and working to safety standards including EN 13849.
* Experience managing engineering projects and delivering measurable improvements.
