Joiner / Carpenter
Willow Group are specialist within the Construction, Refurbishment and Maintenance sectors, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to work on our projects throughout the North East and United Kingdom.
The group undertakes all forms of Construction and Proactive & Reactive maintenance works, within the Public and Private market sectors, with contract values ranging from £5k - £5m.

Job Title: Electrician
Location: Langley Park, Co Durham (DH7 9TT)
Salary Offering: £30-45k pa (depending on experience)
Status: Immediate full-time position (40hrs per week / 5 days)
Working Hours: 7am till 3:30pm (30mins break) Monday-Friday (weekend work available)
Job Description and Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate most of the following experience and attributes;
Experience of working as a site Joiner within the UK Construction company (Commercial & Domestic)
Excellent communication and organizational mind and skillset
Reading and Interpreting Technical and General Arrangement drawings and specifications
Utilizing Construction software for time sheet submission and communication (Construction Manager & Outlook)
Up to date relevant knowledge of UK Building Regulation (desirable)
Full UK driving license (essential)
Self-motivated, autonomous, and innovative in problem solving situations.
The typical Site Joiner will, under the direction from the Joinery Supervisor, be expected to undertake the following duties;
The installation of timber products within domestic and commercial properties
First fix items including door frames, structural timber roofing, partitions, stairs, balustrades and floating floors
Second fix items including skirting, architraves, doors, ironmongery, intumescent fire strip and kitchens
Working safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all the groups health and safety policies and statutory regulations.
Liaising with tenants, landlords and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Keeping accurate records of work carried out and completing necessary paperwork.
Providing advice and guidance to colleagues and customers on Joinery matters.
Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard.
Liaise with existing employees, sub-contractors, and external suppliers to ensure effective coordination of the works.
