As a Senior StaffNurse in our Ambulatory Care Unit you'll provie clinical care topatients undergoing a range of surgical procedures, cardiacinterventions, endoscopy and some medical procedures. As SeniorStaff Nurse the post-holder supervises the team on shift ensuringsafe, high standards of care and customer service, optimisespatient flow, and also provides support to and deputises forthe UnitManager.
Hours areworked between 07:00 to19:30 Monday to Saturday with occasionalbankholidays

Aboutus
Our 12space Ambulatory care Unit delivers care for those undergoingsurgical and medical procedures who do not need to stay overnight.We treat those undergoing procedures across a range of specialtiesincluding cardiology, general surgery, orthopaedics, gynae. Inaddition the hospital has 3 main theatres, a day theatre/endoscopyunit, cardiac cath. lab. 29-bedded ward and busy outpatientdepartment. These are supported by physiotherapy, pharmacy andcardiac physiologist services. The unit (ACU) operates 6 days aweek between 07:00 and approximately20:30.
