We are a well -established, unique manufacturing organisation, steeped in history. We need an expert, who can coax the very best from our rolling mill machines.
Have you spent years mastering the art and science of rolling — from the feel of the machine to the sound of something going wrong?
If you know plate, section, and tube rolling like the back of your hand, and you still believe in doing the job right the first time — we want to hear from you.
Commutable from Birmingham, Walsall, Dudley, Aldridge, Telford, Wolverhampton, Sutton Coldfield, Willenhall, and Cannock

DUTIES for MASTER METAL ROLLER
7. Running and fine-tuning plate, section, or rolling machines with absolute precision
8. Diagnosing rolling issues before they become problems — by sound, feel, and instinct
9. Training and mentoring younger operators with your hard-earned know-how
10. Coaxing the very best out of the Metal Rolling Machines
11. Sharing insights on tooling, machine setup, and rolling strategy based on decades of experience
12. Helping refine rolling processes — not with buzzwords, but with results
REQUIREMENTS for MASTER METAL ROLLER
13. Significant in metal rolling — cold or hot, plate, tube, beam, or section
14. Deep, practical knowledge of materials, tolerances, machine behaviour, and tooling
15. Old-school work ethic: take pride in your work, show up on time, and always finish strong
16. The respect of your peers — because you’ve earned it
17. A calm, patient approach when teaching or leading others
18. Willingness to share your expertise — and help build the future of the team
19. We are looking for a true rolling mill veteran. Not just a machine operator, but a hands-on expert, a problem-solver, and a mentor who can lead from the front, fix anything, and pass on their knowledge to the next generation.
