Job Description: This role will be based in Celtic Lakes, Newport. You’ll be joining one of our Engineering teams, providing operational support and solutions from our head office. The role is part of our 2026 Graduate Programme and will start in September 2026. The programme includes technical classroom training, soft‑skills training, team building, corporate responsibility activities and placement across all of our operations and process teams. You will receive full on‑the‑job training and will be supported by a KLA mentor.
Responsibilities
* Develop and demonstrate operational processes to meet agreed manufacturing specifications.
* Contribute constructively to project teams in developing new products that meet the requirements of global customers for next‑generation designs.
* Assess results using a fully equipped analytical laboratory and software tools including Minitab and Excel.
* Problem‑solve, troubleshoot and investigate faults on manufacturing process solutions.
* Provide regular updates to engineering and operations teams, summarizing results in written reports or presentations.
* Establish effective customer and team relationships to communicate results and ideas clearly.
* Plan work and execute plans in a safe, sensible and timely manner.
* Work some shift patterns to fully utilize the state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing cleanroom; shift allowance will be provided in line with company policy.
Qualifications
* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (2:1) in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
* Passion for learning and development, continuously seeking new knowledge and learning opportunities.
* A logical approach to providing internal customer solutions with attention to detail, foresight and the ability to collect, filter and analyse data for sophisticated problems.
* The ability to think creatively of novel but practical solutions to internal customer problems.
* Strong communication skills, enjoying establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Working knowledge of software tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git is an advantage.
