Duties include
* Personal care - Help with getting in and out of bed, washing, bathing, dressing and, when necessary, help going to the toilet.
* Administration of medication - Following appropriate training.
* Running errands - Many of their clients require support getting out and about, so you’ll assist with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions.
* Companionship - Provide company for your clients, treating them with dignity, patience and compassion.
* Light housekeeping - Light housekeeping such as hoovering, dusting, changing the bed, and washing up.
* Meal preparation - Making breakfast, lunch or tea for your client.
