Responsibilities
As the Director of Maths, you’ll be at the forefront of driving excellence in maths education; you’ll work closely with senior leadership and subject teams, fostering a culture of high achievement and inspiring both teachers and students. Your mission will involve leading and mentoring maths departments, enhancing teaching quality, and elevating student outcomes. You’ll help shape a forward‑thinking curriculum that engages students and sparks a lifelong love for maths.
Using data‑driven insights, you’ll identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions to maximise student success. You’ll support a standardised maths curriculum across all academies and a whole‑trust assessment approach that provides a clear and accurate picture of student progress. Your collaborative approach ensures that every student benefits from a rigorous and well‑structured learning experience.
Safeguarding and Selection
Interview Date: 29 January 2026. In accordance with DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online search will be completed on all shortlisted applicants prior to interview. The Trust will conduct an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate and checks of the relevant barred list / prohibition lists before extending an offer.
