We are seeking a full time ordained minister to join the staff team and the church family, to share in the leadership of the church under the direction of and alongside the Vicar – someone with a heart for prayer, a desire to see God’s kingdom come through missional minded preaching and teaching, and who shares our values of audacious generosity, courageous vulnerability and determined service.
You will:
• be responsible for a portfolio of responsibilities which may include: pastoral care, discipleship and small group ministries, missional and evangelistic outreach, overseeing and developing our Ministry Trainee Programme, or developing our approach to global mission.
• develop preaching and teaching programmes to encourage discipleship and mission and regularly lead the church in missionally-minded preaching .
• have people skills that enable you to line manage key ministerial staff, develop and support curates and placement students, and further develop lay ministry across the church.
• be a pro-active, servant-hearted, self starter, wanting to lead mission and ministry with others, a trusted colleague, who shapes culture through their positive Christ-like contributions.
It may be that you come from an existing Associate role, be seeking an Associate ministry before incumbency, or be looking for a different shape of ministry in this season. If your passion is for Jesus, transformation of lives by His Spirit, and for the family of God, we look forward to your expression of interest and application .
Please see our website for details and application form or contact the vicar, Dan Heyward:
We’d love to chat with you about the opportunity.
