Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
* Engaged in large regeneration schemes mainly using reinforced concrete, smaller residential projects with traditional techniques, and various commercial, educational, and maritime projects with diverse materials and construction methods.
* Undertake detailed structural engineering design on retail and commercial projects.
* Prepare technical schedules, reports, and designs across project stages.
* Represent the company in meetings with clients, suppliers, and third parties.
* Ensure high-quality service, meet design decisions, and adhere to project deadlines and budgets.
* Maintain excellent knowledge of structural design using various materials including traditional build, steel frames, reinforced concrete, and timber frames, especially for significant structures.
* Proficient in Tekla or alternative building modelling software.
