Are you an Business Development Manager with a strong background in construction or concrete. If so Futures is partnering with a long-standing and respected concrete manufacturing organisation to appoint an Infrastructure Business Development Manager. This is a predominantly field-based position, focused on developing relationships, shaping project specifications and supporting infrastructure schemes through the full sales lifecycle. The role will involve extensive engagement with customers and project stakeholders, complemented by structured planning, CRM management and internal coordination. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in the market while collaborating closely with commercial, technical and operational teams to deliver sustainable growth. This position plays a key role in expanding market presence, strengthening specification influence and supporting the successful delivery of projects across a defined infrastructure product portfolio. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial growth and market penetration for a designated retaining wall and infrastructure solutions portfolio across the UK Promote and introduce complementary precast concrete products to maximise project value and cross-selling opportunities Develop long-term relationships with consulting engineers, designers, contractors, developers and public-sector clients Proactively identify, assess and progress new project opportunities using CRM systems and industry intelligence tools Manage enquiries from initial contact through technical engagement, pricing and commercial agreement Maintain a consistent pipeline of outbound activity, targeting live and upcoming infrastructure projects Act as a knowledgeable technical and commercial representative, providing on-site support where required Feed market insight and customer feedback into internal teams to support product development and strategic planning Skills & Experience Demonstrable success in selling retaining wall systems or similar infrastructure products within specification-driven markets Strong awareness of public-sector procurement routes and infrastructure approval processes Ability to interpret technical drawings and contribute confidently to engineering-led discussions Highly organised, with the capability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of development
