Key Activities:
* Lead diving operations on site and play a key role in the success of diving projects
* Instruct recreational courses and lead guided diving with excellent customer service
* Coach/Mentor less experienced team members
* Positively promote Freedom Diving
* Manage logistics from equipment to paperwork
* Deliver dry training (EFR, EO2, Dive Theory etc.)
* Ensure DWR97 and recreational ACOP compliance
* Support company policies, processes and procedures as well as their improvement
* Activities are normally Friday – Monday however other hours may be available
* Be a key member of the Freedom Diving Team
Other Activities:
* Servicing and maintaining equipment
* Pre & Post project admin
* Commercial diving support
Prerequisites:
* Qualified Diving Instructor with at least 1 year of UK teaching experience and 50 certifications issued (PADI preferred, other agencies considered)
* Knowledge of the DWR97 ACOP & related HSE regulations
* In date HSE Diving Medical
* Full driving license and experience driving vans and other commercial vehicles with dive gear
Other desired experience / qualifications:
* Service Technician
* Bookkeeping
* Compressor Operations & Gas Blending
This role reports directly to the Company Director working alongside the Dive Centre Manager and Operations Manager (Commercial Diving).
