Overview
The Dermatology department at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is looking for a Locum Consultant Dermatologist to join the team on a 12-month fixed term basis. You will support outpatient and inpatient clinics across three sites within the Trust (Harlow, Epping and Bishops Stortford). The majority of the workload will involve outpatient review and advice. There are no designated inpatient dermatology beds, but specialist advice is given on inpatients when requested. You will work with professional colleagues and local managers, supervise junior doctors and nurse specialists, and train staff in minor dermatological surgery and prescribing of systemics. You will also support patients along cancer pathways, deliver clinical and quality targets and ensure efficient service delivery.
