Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager /Sales Engineer to join a global leading engineering manufacturer. The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will work fully remote, responsible for new business development and managing key accounts across the North West UK, selling a wide range of hydraulic components and systems including pumps, valves, actuators, power packs or similar hydraulic products via end user and OEM channels. The Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer must have strong technical sales and applications knowledge within the hydraulics or relatable fluid power sector. Promote and sell hydraulic components. systems and fluid power solutions to machinery and equipment manufacturers. Deliver strong personal sales performance, generating £1M in annual hydraulic system sales. Provide technical sales, applications support, or hands on knowledge of hydraulic solutions. Identify new business opportunities through site visits and hydraulic industry networking. Liaise with various engineering departments. Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager /Sales Engineer Requirements Proven background in technical sales and applications knowledge within the hydraulics or relatable fluid power sector. Experience selling hydraulic systems, components & solutions in to various industries. A Hydraulic Service Engineer, Design Engineer, Application Engineer looking for progression in to sales are encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems & components such as pumps, valves, power packs or similar. Mechanical engineering degree is advantageous. Full UK driving licence and willingness to work remote across the North West UK.
