Responsibilities
As a Chemical Engineering Placement at PM Group, your first two years will bring opportunities to develop your knowledge and experience across a multitude of areas, with a rich variety of new challenges in design, operation and commissioning. You will work as part of a multi-disciplined team on projects in the following sectors – Mission Critical, Pharma, Med Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, Food and Energy. Your work assignments will involve rotation through different projects, covering areas such as:
1. Process Safety,
2. Process Plant Operation,
3. Process Optimization/Modelling,
4. Process Unit Operations,
5. Design Calculations.
Qualifications
6. Studying for a Degree in Chemical Engineering ,
7. Proficiency in engineering software as well as MS Word and Excel,
8. Good verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work in a vibrant multi discipline design environment,
9. Strong work ethic and the ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines,
10. Flexibility to work both in design office and on construction teams.
