🕓 Monday to Friday – 39 hours per week
About the Role
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client in Chandler’s Ford for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their successful manufacturing operation.
This role plays a key part in ensuring all manufactured and inbound components meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
You’ll be inspecting components and finished products against technical drawings and specifications, using precision measurement tools such as verniers and micrometers, and working closely with both suppliers and internal teams to maintain consistent quality standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect manufactured and inbound parts against drawings and specifications.
Accurately use verniers, micrometers, and other handheld measuring tools.
Identify and report non-conforming components and liaise with suppliers to resolve issues.
Support the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer with continuous improvement projects.
Produce accurate inspection and quality reports.
Inspect finished pump sets prior to despatch to ensure customer specifications are met.
Contribute to improving inspection processes and overall quality performance.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Essential: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Essential: Experience using verniers and micrometers.
Familiarity with ISO9001 and Lean manufacturing principles (advantageous).
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
Competent in Microsoft Office and confident producing accurate reports.
Highly organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
