Sample Collection Driver As a Sample Collection Driver, you will play an important role in supporting our laboratory operations by collecting samples from client sites and ensuring they are transported safely, professionally and on time. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent driving standards, reliability and a flexible approach to day-to-day collections. Hours Per Week: 40 Days Per Week: Monday to Friday – 40 hours (shift - between the hours of 06:00 – 18:00) Contract: Permanent contract Annual Salary: £26,868 – From 1st April. Day to Day Collecting samples from client sites as requested Delivering samples to the laboratory within agreed timeframes and in good condition Driving safely and responsibly at all times, showing courtesy to other road users Maintaining the vehicle, including fridge temperature control, cleanliness and basic checks Building and maintaining professional working relationships with both clients and ALS colleagues Completing all required paperwork accurately and reporting any issues to the Regional Transport Manager The Essentials A full clean driving licence A good understanding of UK road networks and safe driving standards Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable Strong communication skills and a professional manner A flexible, reliable and proactive approach to work The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and use initiative Our Benefits Annual Leave commencing at 25 days (rising to 30) plus 8 public holidays (pro rata for part time) Ability to Buy annual leave.
