Project Overview:
While the Bechtel Projects you support may change over time, you will initially be supporting the Urenco Project, which is the expansion of an existing process facility located on a nuclear site in Capenhurst, Cheshire (UK) to increase the deconversion of waste from the Uranium fuel enrichment process. The facility is being expanded in response to changing market dynamics and will provide a major component of the UK's nuclear energy security strategy. It is an exciting time in the nuclear market as the global demand for fuels is growing year:on:year as more countries adopt carbon free power generation.The project scope included the planning of Front:End Engineering Design (FEED), design optioneering, production of a concept design and is transitioning into the delivery of FEED and construction of enabling works. There is the potential for a follow:on EPCM contract to be awarded.
Job Summary:
The HR Specialist provides project HR support across assigned project(s), partnering with the Project Manager and key project stakeholders as well as the HR Business Partner to deliver consistent, compliant HR services. The role requires comfort working in complex, multi:stakeholder environments and building strong relationships with client and partner teams.
The role is for 2 days per with the potential to increase this over time if preferrered. The work location is at our client office in Birchwood Park, Warrington.
Due to the security requirements for this role, applications can only be accepted from UK nationals located within the UK, with the ability to obtain security clearance.
This position is designated as part:time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in:person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in:person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership".
