Mediplacements are looking for a skilled and experienced band 5 Histology Biomedical Scientist to fill an ongoing locum role in our client's laboratory based in West Sussex. This position is due to start as soon as possible with a pay rate of up to £18 per hour. Job Description: * HCPC registered. * NHS Experience beneficial but not essential. * Experience of working as a Band 5 for minimum of 1 year. * Experience of working within Adult Histopathology. The worker must be able to cut sections (microtomy). The successful candidate must have experience with histology techniques such as embedding, sectioning, staining, and reporting of histology specimens. They must also be familiar with the use of a range of laboratory equipment and be able to troubleshoot and maintain them as required.
