Closing Date – Applications close on Friday 3rd October at 5pm A chance to thrive We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Save & Pay Value Stream at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Save & Pay products by delivering analytical requirements to help make things better for customers while supporting growth of our savings products. Working with a range of stakeholders you’ll be involved in a range of varied activities and a high level of self-motivation and focus would be needed. You’ll be expected to be able to work independently as well as engaging with a range of stakeholders inside and outside of the Value Stream, reporting into the Senior Customer Value Manager for Customer Management. This isn’t a pure data analysis role, it bridges the gap between data and commercial requirements to support our business objectives. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast moving and evolving environment working in an agile way, broadening your knowledge of the Save & Pay products and industry as you do. What you’ll be doing
1. You’ll be carrying out analysis and collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to:
2. Support business initiatives by leading on analysis of data to support business cases
3. Independently identify opportunities to make things better for the business and customers through data analysis
4. Run risk controls, investigating poor customer outcomes where appropriate
5. Provide ad hoc and regular reporting to the Value Stream stakeholders
6. Support delivery of key projects as part of NWT’s and project teams
We need you to have
7. Experience of using SAS
8. Good knowledge of a range of data analysis tools and software
9. Strong presentation and paper-writing skills
10. An inquisitive mind – be self-driven to identify opportunities
And if you have any of these, even better
11. Strong knowledge of banking products, particularly savings
12. Experience working with Power BI
