Six by Nico is a creative and dynamic restaurant group known for its unique six-course tasting menus that change every six weeks. We’re passionate about delivering a world-class dining experience, and our team is at the heart of this journey. Our Belfast team is expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our growing kitchen crew.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter at Six by Nico, you will play an essential role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. From maintaining a clean and safe working environment to assisting chefs with basic kitchen tasks, your contribution will help deliver the high standards we are known for.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas at all times.
* Assist with basic food prep tasks under the guidance of our chefs.
* Handle deliveries and help maintain stock rotation.
* Properly manage waste disposal and recycling in line with health and safety regulations.
* Keep dishwashing stations fully stocked and operational.
* Support the team with any ad-hoc kitchen duties as required.

* A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A keen eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
* Previous kitchen experience is a bonus but not essential – we’re happy to train the right candidate.
