About the role
We are looking for a dependable and proactive Kitchen Porter to join our Food, Bakery & Patisserie team at Worsley College. This essential role ensures our teaching kitchens remain clean, safe, and well-stocked, supporting both staff and students in delivering high-quality practical sessions.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas, including equipment, surfaces, and storage zones.
* Carry out deep cleaning routines and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Manage deliveries, organise stock, and rotate supplies to support efficient kitchen operations.
* Safely dispose of waste and maintain recycling procedures.
* Assist with setting up and clearing down practical sessions.
* Provide general support to catering students and staff during practical activities, helping to create a safe and organised learning environment.
