Job Duties:
1. Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities
2. Assisting with the supervision of students in the classroom and around the school
3. Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or special needs
4. Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
5. Assisting with classroom management and behaviour control
6. Supporting students in their learning and progress
7. Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
Required Qualifications:
8. GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
9. Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
10. Enhanced DBS check
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
11. Previous experience working in a primary school setting
12. Knowledge of the national curriculum and educational policies
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Ability to work well in a team and independently
15. Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students
Preferred Qualifications:
16. First Aid certification
17. Experience working with students with special educational needs
18. Additional qualifications in specific subject areas
Working Conditions:
19. Temporary position with the possibility of extension
20. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
21. Working in a primary school environment
22. Collaborating with teachers and other support staff
