Job Description
We’re looking for a Site Engineer to join our Severn Trent contract based in Hatton.
Location: Hatton
Hours: 45 hours per week, flexible as desired. We cannot offer sponsorship.
* Support operational delivery of essential water infrastructure projects within the Severn Trent framework.
* Provide technical and functional support across site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
* Carry out setting out, surveying, and verification of works to ensure alignment with design drawings and specifications.
* Coordinate and plan site activities in line with project programmes, resolving technical issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate site records, including as-built data, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material approvals.
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to support smooth and efficient delivery on site.
* Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across all site operations.
* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Previous experience in a site-based engineering role within relevant industry.
* Proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS).
* Understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
* CSCS card.
* Full UK driving licence.
