Job Description
The successful candidate will lead work assignments covering all technical analysis and project development deliverables for our customers in both public and private sectors. This involves on-site energy audits, project outline design, scope of work development, techno-economic assessments, stakeholder coordination, liaising with technical specialists and sub-contractors, report writing, and presentations.
The ideal candidate must have a strong engineering background, possess technical leadership skills, have a proven track record in developing successful energy and renewable projects, and be willing to travel nationwide regularly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assume responsibility for the development of High Level Assessments (HLA) and Investment Grade Proposals (IGP).
2. Conduct energy audits and site surveys to identify opportunities for energy conservation measures (ECMs) and renewable solutions.
3. Develop engineering outline designs, including equipment sizing, system performance, control philosophy, and project planning.
4. Perform feasibility studies, techno-economic analyses, and energy modeling across various renewable and clean technologies.
5. Create scope of work documents and engineering work packages for contractors.
6. Calculate project capital costs, energy savings, and financial evaluations.
7. Engage with clients and participate in project meetings.
8. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
9. Improve operational processes and ensure quality customer service.
10. Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
* Engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Working towards or achieved chartered engineer status.
* Qualifications such as PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessor or Domestic Energy Assessor are advantageous.
* At least 4 years of experience in energy engineering, renewables, or decarbonisation.
* Strong understanding of building services engineering principles.
* Proven leadership in project scope development and system assessability.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience with UK Public Sector Tender Frameworks is advantageous.

Good organizational skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines are essential. Willingness to travel across the UK and abroad is required.
