Job Description The Impact You'll Make in this Role: As a Payroll SME for UK & Ireland, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here you'll make an impact by: Delivering payroll services according to country regulations and labour law for UK and Ireland. Supporting employees and supervisors' questions surrounding compensation, payroll processes etc. Collaborating with the payroll provider to report and resolve issues related to payroll. Following support processes and procedures for reporting issues and submitting tickets to the payroll provider or appropriate support organisations. Documenting requirements for change requests and working closely with the payroll provider through implementation to production Working closely with leadership to determine priorities for the payroll provider, assigning responsibilities, and establishing timetables to ensure success. Collaborating closely with HR teams for other payroll relevant tasks. Staying abreast of lows and regulations and enforcing processes aligned with these regulations related to payroll and ensuring alignment with global payroll strategy expectations. Analysing and resolving inquiries from employees as they relate to payroll. Maintaining high quality of data in the HR/Payroll systems. Managing reporting tasks for internal and external government systems. Identifying opportunities, making process improvement recommendations, and implementing changes. Exercising discretion in matters of confidentiality. Protecting the corporation and assuring our values and policies are upheld and complied with. Ensuring compliance with our Business Conduct Policies and other policies and teaching and acting as an example of uncompromising ethics. Other projects as assigned, such as: Administering other benefit plans related to payroll Providing time and absence support and resolution Calculating termination packages. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, we require (at a minimum) the following qualifications: In-depth knowledge and experience of UK & Ireland payroll responsibility (theories and practices) and payroll processing. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook) Ability to manage multi-countries payroll within the timeline. A team player with strong ability to work in a remotely environment.
