THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE IN BELFAST!
We are recruiting for a Senior Network & Microsoft 365 Engineer to take ownership of IT infrastructure within a growing organisation. This is a standalone, senior level position suited to a highly capable one person IT professional who thrives on autonomy and technical responsibility.
Networking and Microsoft 365 security are the core priorities of this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and manage enterprise networking (VLANs, routing/switching, Firewalls, VPNs, QoS, VoIP)
* Lead Microsoft 365 administration (Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Autopilot, SharePoint & Teams governance)
* Maintain and secure Windows Server & Active Directory environments
* Support and optimise AWS infrastructure
* Own backup strategy, patching, security hardening and vulnerability remediation
* Act as L3 escalation point and drive root cause resolution
* Automate routine tasks using PowerShell
Requirements
* Strong hands on expertise in networking and Microsoft 365 security (essential)
* Experience with Firewalls, VoIP and endpoint management
* Proven ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities
* Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
