Ideal role for a Care Assistant
Looking for additional work with weekday mornings free.
Your work will involve assisting individuals with their daily routines, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall health and happiness are at the centre of your priorities.
Additional duties
* Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan, providing hands‑on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
* Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents’ health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
* Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued, respected and cared for.
* Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
* Safety and Comfort: Create a comfortable living space and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.

Requirements
* Proven experience within a similar care environment.
* Checkable work history.
* Up‑to‑date mandatory training documents (Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, Infection Control). If you do not have up‑to‑date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee.
* In‑date enhanced DBS check (if your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you).
We do not offer visa sponsorships.
This is an ongoing opportunity.
Your typical hours will start at 07:00 and finish at 14:00 Saturday and Sunday.
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, with added 28 days accrued holiday pay.
