Head of Marketing – Phoenix Health & Safety
Location: Hybrid (Cannock HQ – flexible office days)
Salary: £70,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience

You will lead the charge on generating pipeline, bringing in new customers, and ensuring every pound spent on marketing delivers measurable return. This is a hands‑on, commercial role where success is measured by pipeline growth and ROI, not just brand visibility.
You’ll join the senior leadership team, shape the direction of the business, and build a brilliant marketing function from the ground up.
Responsibilities
* Drive marketing‑sourced pipeline growth, aligning strategy and budget to revenue targets.
* Generate high‑quality leads through multi‑channel campaigns and targeted ABM strategies.
* Define and execute positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategies based on market insights.
* Build and lead a high‑performing marketing team while managing agency partnerships.
* Own marketing automation, data integrity, and performance reporting across platforms.
* Deliver integrated, data‑driven campaigns that meet KPIs and drive pipeline impact.
* Influence business strategy with market insights and represent marketing at SLT level.

What We’re Looking For / To Be Successful In This Role
Core Qualifications
* 7‑10 years of marketing experience with proven commercial impact.
* Track record of pipeline generation – measurable revenue growth through marketing.
* Budget management experience – comfortable allocating budgets across channels based on ROI.
* CRM expertise (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) – workflow, scoring, and reporting proficiency.
* Data‑driven mindset – decisions based on attribution, conversion rates, and ROI metrics.
* Agency management experience – held agencies accountable for performance.
* Team leadership – hiring, coaching, performance management of marketing teams.
* Commercial acumen – understanding of P&L, sales processes, and business strategy.
* Senior stakeholder management – operating at SLT level.
Desirable Extras
* Experience in health & safety, training, or professional services sector.
* High‑growth business environment experience.
* ABM and enterprise marketing experience.
* Product launch and go‑to‑market expertise.
