Control Systems Engineer Role Overview: The Control Systems Engineer operates within the project delivery team, supporting the technical execution of building automation and control system projects. While project and contract management responsibilities rest with the Project Engineer or Project Manager, the Control Engineer plays a central role in system design, documentation, and commissioning.
Control Systems Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Technical Design and Documentation
Collaborate with the project team to support the design and implementation of control system elements such as:
Control panel schematics
Valve selection schedules
Descriptions of operation
DDC strategies and graphical interface details
Prepare supporting project documentation including RFIs, technical submissions, and progress/commissioning reports.
Apply internal technical standards consistently across all design and commissioning tasks.
