Civil Engineering Track Operative (Weekend Works)

Contract Type: Zero Hours (Weekend Work)
Role Summary
Collis Civil Engineering is the specialist railway civil engineering division of the Signal House Group, delivering on-site support through sub- and superstructure installations, site surveys, and structure refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out civil engineering works on railway projects, including installations, groundwork, structural tasks, and refurbishment works
* Assist with LOC base installations, foundations, handrail installations, and hardstand construction
* Work in accordance with all railway safety standards and site procedures
* Support site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
* Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience working in civil engineering within the railway sector
* Essential experience in installations, refurbs, LOC bases, foundations, handrail installation, and hardstands
* PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification highly desirable
* Strong understanding of railway safety standards and procedures
* Ability to work weekends and travel to various UK sites as required
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a site team
* Full UK Driving Licence
